Rinse pear over water before slicing
Slice the pear vertically into thin slices, avoid including the stem and seeds. (Only about 1/2 pear is needed for one sandwich)
Cook up turkey bacon on the stove top or microwave until crispy
In a separate small frying pan, heat up olive oil and minced garlic
Add slices of pears to pan and cook until soft
Add dried basil, parsley, and dash of black pepper to pan with the pear
Toast the bread in the toaster
Create your sandwich: Add approximately 4-6 slices of pear, 3 strips of bacon broken in half, and 1 leaf of lettuce in between your toasted sourdough bread
