Chop up apple into very small pieces
- ½ apple
- 1 eggs
- ⅛ cup vanilla yogurt
- ½ tbsp sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Add chopped apple, yogurt, eggs, vanilla, and sugar in a large bowl. Stir until combined
- ½ cup all purpose flour
- ½ cup whole wheat flour
- ¼ cup oats
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
In a separate bowl, whisk together flours, oats, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and any other spices you would like.
- ⅜ cup milk
Add flour mixture into wet ingredients and stir with a wooden spoon until combined. Pour in milk to loosen batter.
Scoop batter into pre-heated and greased waffle maker.
Cook for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.
Top with syrup, peanut butter, almond butter, nuts, fruit, or anything you would like
