milk

butter (melted)
butter (for frying)

whisk, frying pan

- 135 g self raising flour
- 3 tbsp caster sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
Sieve dry ingredients into bowl

- 2 tbsp butter (melted)
Melt butter in separate bowl
Step 3/9
- 150 ml milk
- 1 egg
Mix melted butter with egg and milk

- whisk
Add wet mix to dry mix and whisk until smooth
Step 5/9
If batter is too thick, add a little more milk

- butter (for frying)
- frying pan
Heat frying pan and butter

Add small amount of batter to frying pan. Make sure it's reasonably flat

When bubbles begin to appear, flip the pancake

Cook until both sides are golden brown
