- ½ onion
- 75 g ham
- unsalted butter
- large pot
- rubber spatula
Preheat oven to 190°C/375°F. Mince onion and slice or cube ham. Melt half the butter in a large pot and add onion. Sauté lightly until translucent.

- ½ l milk
- 150 g fusilli
Add milk and bring to a simmer. Season with salt and pepper. Add fusilli and cook, stirring constantly until pasta is al dente.

- 125 g shredded cheddar cheese
Stir in remaining butter and two-thirds of shredded cheddar cheese. Once cheese has melted and mixture is creamy, add ham and stir to combine.

- 25 g shredded cheddar cheese

Pour mixture into a baking dish. Top with remaining cheese and transfer to oven. Bake at 190°C/375°F until cheese is completely melted, approx. 8 min. Enjoy!
