Vietnamese egg coffee: Catch up on the viral trend
If you enjoy strong coffee, try a fluffier version
Vietnamese coffee is known to be a strong coffee variant that is made with its own coffee filter. In addition to its strong taste, the classic also has condensed milk in it. Recently, a viral trend has been the new addition to the all time favorite: Egg yolk!
How is Vietnamese egg coffee made
The viral egg coffee only adds to the traditional recipe, the base will still be the same ingredients. Egg yolks join Vietnamese coffee and condensed milk in a very fluffy way in the trendy coffee. Instead of adding condensed milk directly, it is whipped with egg yolk until fluffy, and then added on top of coffee. The result is almost a coffee dessert that can be enjoyed.
The only thing some doctors warn about is the consumption of raw eggs. It should be considered that there are always the usual risks for raw eggs like salmonella to be kept in mind.
