Ingredients

½ tsp olive oil (for coating)
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
⅔ cup Milk/soy milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 large egg
¼ cup Butter/margarine
3 tbsp Colored non-pareils

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Pot or microwave
  • Electric mixer or whisk or spatula

  • Step 1/10

    Preheat oven to 350 F.

  • Step 2/10

    • ½ tsp olive oil (for coating)

    With olive oil coat the baking pan

  • Step 3/10

    • 1 cup flour
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1 tsp baking powder
    • ¼ tsp salt
    • Large mixing bowl

    In a large mixing bowl combine the flour ,sugar ,baking powder ,and salt

    • ⅔ cup Milk/soy milk
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract

    Add milk/soymilk and vanilla

    • 1 large egg

    Crack egg and add it to the bowl

    • ¼ cup Butter/margarine
    • Pot or microwave

    Melt the butter or margarine in microwave or pot over medium heat let cool 5 minutes

    • 3 tbsp Colored non-pareils

    Add the non-pariels

  • Step 8/10

    • Electric mixer or whisk or spatula

    Beat for 3 minutes

  • Step 9/10

    Put in pan and bake for 30-35 minutes

    When you are done baking stick a tooth pick to see if it’s ready
