“I have tried multiple gluten free recipes until my friend taught me this one. I absolutely love it and I even like it more than some wheat breads. I like it even simple just with some butter and salt but it is also great for sandwiches”

Ingredients

Pieces:-1+
210 g gluten-free flour mix
20 g psyllium husks
8 g active dry yeast
20 g sugar
150 ml Warm water
100 g Potato starch
12 g apple cider vinegar
2 pinches salt
240 ml Water
  • Step 1/8

    • 8 g active dry yeast
    • 20 g sugar
    • 150 ml Warm water

    In a small bowl mix together the yeast, sugar and 150ml of water . Set aside and let the yeast bloom

  • Step 2/8

    • 20 g psyllium husks
    • 240 ml Water

    In a small bowl mix the psyllium husk and 240 ml of water until you reach a gel consistency.

  • Step 3/8

    • 210 g gluten-free flour mix
    • 100 g Potato starch
    • 2 pinches salt

    In a big bowl mix the flour, potato starch and salt

  • Step 4/8

    • 12 g apple cider vinegar

    Add the yeast mixture, psyllium gel and apple cider vinegar to the dry ingredients.

    Knead the dough for 5-10 minutes

    Let the dough rise while you preheat the oven .

  • Step 7/8

    Transfer the dough into a cast iron skillet . Fill another pan with water and place it in the oven . Over it place the cast iron skillet with the bread . Bake like that for 30 min and then remove the pan with water . Then bake the bread for another 30 min

    Let the bread cool for at least 45 min before cutting it
