  • Step 1/4

    • 3 cardamom pods
    • star anise
    • cinnamon sticks
    • 3 tbsp peanut oil
    • 4 cloves cloves
    • saucepan

Pour oil into your vessel and add the whole spices and sauté for 5 seconds and then add the chopped onions to it and sauté for 40 to 60 secs until raw smell is gone.

  • Step 2/4

    • onions
    • 1 tomato
    • 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste

Then add the ginger garlic paste which was freshly grounded and sauté till the raw smell is gone for 30 secs and then add the chopped tomatoes and sauté till it becomes mushy like a jam.

  • Step 3/4

    • 500 g shrimp (peeled and deveined)
    • 1 tsp garam masala
    • 2 tsp chili powder
    • ½ tsp ground turmeric
    • 2 tsp ground coriander

After you get the wonderful aroma of cooking, add the shrimps and add very little water as they release water themself which makes it extra runny if too much water added and then after the shrimp turns pink, add all the ground spices and sauté till it’s looking like a curry dish.

  • Step 4/4

    • ½ sprig mint
    • ½ sprig cilantro

Then add the leaves of mint and cilantro to give it a fresh kick when eaten with flat bread or rice
