Spicy baked salmon
"This is a spicy baked fish recipe that you can prepare with salmon, trout, pomfret or any other fish filet. The spice paste is ground freshly, the fish needs to marinade about half an hour to absorb the flavors. Then simply bake it for half an hour."

Step 1/4
- ⅔ tbsp ginger
- ⅔ tbsp garlic
Peel ginger and garlic.
Step 2/4
- 1⅓ tsp lime juice
- ⅔ tbsp flour
- 1⅓ tsp cayenne pepper
- ⅔ tsp salt
- ⅔ tbsp oil
- ⅔ tsp garam masala (refer to my recipe)

Blend ginger, garlic, lime juice, salt, spices and flour to a paste, optionally transfer to a mortar and pestle and pound the paste further for about a minute to allow all ingredients to blend with each other.

- ⅔ tsp butter
- 2 salmon fillets
- baking pan
- paper towels
Butter a baking pan with a paper towel, spread the spice paste over the fish and place it in the pan. Marinade for 30min.
Step 4/4
Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Bake fish for 25-30min. Serve with rice, salad and parippu.
