Quick & crispy asparagus parmesan cigars from the air fryer

Step 1/3
- 2 stalks green asparagus
- 6⅔ g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 1 slices prosciutto
- 1 sheets phyllo dough

Wash the green asparagus, trim off the woody ends, and peel the lower third of the stalks if needed. Finely grate the Parmesan and slice the prosciutto lengthwise in half. Lay out the filo pastry sheets and cut each one in half crosswise to get twelve rectangles.

Place a piece of prosciutto on each filo rectangle, sprinkle with grated Parmesan, and lay an asparagus spear along the bottom edge. Season with salt and pepper, then roll the asparagus tightly in the pastry.

- air fryer
Brush the pastry rolls with olive oil and sprinkle with a bit more Parmesan. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C. Place the rolls in the basket in batches and cook for approx. 8–10 min. until golden and crispy.
