Ingredients
Servings2
83⅓ g
flour
36⅔ ml
milk
⅓ tsp
salt
3⅓ g
fresh yeast
⅛ tsp
brown sugar
½ tbsp
butter
⅛
egg
Step 1/6
- 83⅓ g flour
- 36⅔ ml milk
- 3⅓ g fresh yeast
- ⅛ tsp brown sugar
Sift the flour into a large bowl. Make a small dimple into the flour. Crumble there the yeast and pour a little bit of milk on it. Put there the sugar so the yeast can grow.
Step 2/6
Let the yeast grow for a few minutes, until you see bubbles on top of it.
Step 3/6
- ⅓ tsp salt
- ½ tbsp butter
Mix all the other ingredients and make a dough. Let it rise for as long possible, at least 120 min.
Step 4/6
Separate the dough into 12 pieces. Divide each piece into thirds and braid it like hair. Or you can try to braid it the traditional way as on the picture.
Step 5/6
- ⅛ egg
Grease the round rolls with the egg and bake them for 30 min in 180 °C.
Step 6/6
Enjoy!
