Hot 7 layer dip
"This version of the classic 7 layer dip is served hot. Not convinced? The crispy crust of tortilla chips and cheese will get you on board! Enjoy with more tortilla chips for dipping, it’s the perfect game day snack! Go vegetarian with a meat alternative or simply omit the ground beef. If you like, you can also crush the chips in a blender instead of by hand in a plastic bag."

Step 1/5
- ½ cloves garlic
- 62½ g ground beef
- ¼ tsp ground cumin
- ⅛ tsp sweet paprika powder
- salt

Preheat oven to 200°C/400°F. Peel and mince garlic cloves. Heat a little vegetable oil in a frying pan, add the minced meat and cook for approx. 2 – 3 min., then add garlic and continue frying. Add cumin, paprika, and some salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.

- 150 g canned kidney beans
- ½ tbsp vegetable oil
- ⅛ tsp smoked paprika powder
- 75 g crème fraîche
- ¾ tbsp tomato paste
- 1¼ drops Tabasco

Drain kidney beans and add to a measuring cup. Add vegetable oil and smoked paprika. Season with salt and pepper and use an immersion blender to blend into a smooth puree. In a small bowl, combine crème fraiche with tomato paste, tabasco, and season with salt and pepper. Set aside.

- 2½ g cilantro
- ¼ lime

Core and cube bell peppers. Peel onion and dice. Pluck the leaves from most of the cilantro and chop finely. In a small bowl, mix bell pepper, onion, and cilantro and add lime juice. Season with salt and pepper.

- 17½ g Doritos nacho cheese flavored tortilla chips
- 50 g shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ scallions (for garnish)

Thinly slice the scallions and finely chop remaining cilantro. Transfer Doritos into a freezer bag and crush finely. In a small bowl, mix tortilla chips crumbs with the shredded cheddar. Set everything aside.

- 37½ g canned sweet corn
- ¼ package Doritos lightly salted tortilla chips (for serving)

In a baking dish, layer the bean puree, ground meat, tomato crème fraîche, bell pepper and onion salsa, corn and finish with the tortilla chips and cheese mixture. Transfer to the preheated oven and bake everything for approx. 15 min., or until the cheese crust is golden brown. Sprinkle with scallion and chopped cilantro. Serve hot with more Doritos for dipping. Enjoy!
