Ingredients

2 cloves garlic
onion
1 pinch salt
2 pinches pepper
250 ml evaporated milk
250 g Parmesan cheese
20 ml pasta water
5 slices ham
3 tbsp cooking oil
150 g butter
½ kg macaroni
2 l water

  • Step 1/7

    • ½ kg macaroni
    • 2 l water

    Boil macaroni in a deep pan until al dente. Set aside.

  • Step 2/7

    • 2 cloves garlic
    • onion
    • 3 tbsp cooking oil
    • 150 g butter

    Preheat pan with cooking oil. Sauté finely chopped garlic and onion, and then stir in butter.

    • 5 slices ham

    Add in diced ham. Cook until crispy or as you like.

    • 1 pinch salt
    • 2 pinches pepper
    • 250 ml evaporated milk

    Add in evaporated milk. Stir continuously. Put salt and pepper to taste.

    • 250 g Parmesan cheese

    Add in the Parmesan cheese and let it simmer for about 6-8 minutes.

    Put some pasta water to control taste and consistency.

    Serve hot. Add more cheese if you like!
