Step 1/4
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 clove garlic
- 6 tbsp diced onion
- 1 cup diced tomato

Heat butter in a saucepan and add the onion. Sauté until translucent. Add garlic and tomatoes and cook until they are soft.
Step 2/4
- 2 pinch salt
- 2 pinch pepper
- 2 tsp tomato paste
- ¼ cup fresh basil
- 4 tbsp jarred marinara sauce
When the tomatoes are softened, add marinara sauce and tomato paste. Mix that in until incorporated. Then add salt, pepper, and fresh basil. When basil starts to wilt, take the pan off the heat and set aside.

- 4 tbsp milk
- ½ cup mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp additional butter
- 2 cup cooked penne

In a separate pan, heat the additional butter and add the cooked penne. When that’s heated, add the milk and then slowly add the mozzarella until melted and the pasta is coated. You may want to add a little flour to ensure that the sauce sticks. Add nutmeg and a dash of salt.

Place pasta on a plate and spoon the sauce on top. Voila! Perfect.
