What does a "Taster" actually do?

As a member, you’ll be invited to participate in various research activities. These may include:

- User Interviews: Deep-dive conversations about your needs. These happen in a video call with our product team.
- Usability Testing: Getting a first look at improvements or new features to see if they make sense.
- Surveys: Quick check-ins to gather your feedback on specific ideas.

How much time does it take?

It’s entirely up to you. It depends on what we need but you decide if you want to participate or not. Surveys take a few minutes, usability testing or user interviews usually 15-30 min. There is no minimum commitment really.

Why should I join?

Beyond getting a "sneak peek" at what we’re building, you get to directly influence the app that you use for cooking. You’ll help us eliminate frustrations and ensure we’re building something that actually makes your life easier.

Is my feedback private?

Absolutely. We use your insights to improve our product, but your personal data remains confidential and is used strictly for research purposes.

Do you build everything that we ask for?

No, we need to make sure that the problems are worth solving for many people, but also that the solution works for many people. Developing and maintaining features cost money and we need to make sure that it’s worth the investment so that we can keep on creating great recipes and products for you and many other home cooks.
