The cheapest ice cream machine in the world is snow

If you weren’t already a fan of snowy weather, a viral ice cream recipe in the snow might convince you to enjoy the snow more than before. One particular video went viral for making easy ice cream on a snowy day, showing an easy recipe to enjoy with friends and family. 

The video shows that snow is the cheapest ice cream machine one can get, plus a cozy entertainment for everyone. 

How to make ice cream in the snow

The creator of the video (@karinkopersen) was inspired by the recipe from dairy company Arla and made their own ice cream in a snow bowl. 

The simple ice cream in the snow recipe is;
1. Create a bowl shape space in the snow for your ice cream bowl and cover it with salt.
2. Add 500 ml heavy cream, 3 tbsp powdered sugar, 2 tsp vanilla sugar, and 3 egg yolks. Whisk it all well until you have a thick ice cream consistency.
3. Add toppings of your choice; chocolate, caramel, rainbow sprinkles, and more!

That’s the simple recipe to make ice cream in snow! Social media (mainly Instagram, and TikTok) is seeing the trend take off, and variations are up to any ice cream in the snow fan to make.
