Supermarket lies you can see through if you look close enough
You can easily find out what’s real or not at the supermarket
Supermarket shelves contain products for almost anything you can imagine, and sometimes for products that you probably won’t even imagine. ZdfInfo has pointed out some products that are the common “liars” in the supermarket in this instagram post, highlighting the fake aspects of advertising in some of these products.
What products are lying to you in the supermarket?
ZdfInfo has listed these four products: Wasabi, Alaska pollock, vanilla ice cream, and chocolate glaze.
• Wasabi can usually be colored horseradish.
• Alaska pollock is commonly sold under “salmon”.
• Vanilla ice only slightly or not at all contains real vanilla.
• Chocolate glaze doesn’t have chocolate at all.
CHIP Online has also tested these out in the supermarket and came to a similar conclusion, with the addition of strawberry yogurt, which also barely includes real strawberries!
