Oktoberfest 2025 begins with the highest prices for beer and steak yet
This year’s Oktoberfest is already the most expensive one
Oktoberfest began last Saturday, on September 20th, 2025 for this year’s festivities. It will be going until early October, and much like any year, celebrations will likely continue during this time with fans showing up from anywhere. However, as each year passes, Oktoberfest fans are facing inflation more and more on the festival grounds. Especially in beer, this year has already seen the highest prices yet as high as 15.80€ per liter.
What are the prices at Oktoberfest 2025?
The prices for beer have seen a price increase of 3.5% compared to the previous year. To be more specific the price range for a liter of beer sits at 14.50€ to 15.80€.
There is also a record-breaking steak this year: The Tomahawk Steak. It currently holds the highest prices for a single dish at the festival grounds ranging from 179€ to 410€ depending on the tent. At this stage, consumers are correct to question whether the event is becoming a rather luxurious one or not, and if the international fame of the event is affecting these prices or not.
While the general opinion is rather on an unpleasant side in the face of the recent price surges, the festival still continues to be one of the most popular events of the season with an estimated 6 to 7 million participants.
