Lindt fans here: Prices to drop on the shelves
Lindt goes for price reductions on the classics
Chocolate prices have been on the news a few times already this year, and this time around Lindt comes back on the headlines for another approach. Lindt & Sprüngli have announced that they will be adjusting Lindt classics’ prices on the shelves after a recognizable drop in sales in the last year.
Drops in prices from 50 cents on Lindt chocolate
Lebensmittel Zeitung has stated the price drops for the basic 100 gram chocolates will be from 2.69EUR to 2.19EUR. This already is a big drop to start the price decreases in Lindt chocolates.
Lindt has also reported that for cacao they are stocked for 2026, but there will be further assessments in prices for the next few years. In addition, big markets have also reported that the Easter editions did not sell very well despite price reductions. It is reasonable to expect a few more rounds of price reductions in the coming months with all the information consumers have now.
