150 g Red Beans
150 g sugar
3 cobs cardamom pod (Optional)
3 pinches salt
150 g Sweet Rice Flour
100 g sugar
cornflour (for coating)
water

    • 150 g Red Beans

    To make the mochi filling, soak red beans in water overnight. Then boil for 5 mins and drain. Again boil for about 20 mins. Then blender everything.

    • 3 pinches salt
    • 3 cobs cardamom pod (Optional)

    Add the blended red bean paste and sugar to a pan and cook until thickened. Dont forget to add some salt and cardamom (Ensaal) . Then set aside to cool down.

    • 150 g Sweet Rice Flour
    • 100 g sugar
    • water

    To make the rice flour mochi, put the rice flour (If you can't find sweet rice flour, use cornflour as a substitute) , 1 cup of water and sugar into a bowl and mix thoroughly until it becomes a smooth consistency. Then microwave or cook the mixture for 3 minutes. (Dont forget to stir every 30 seconds to reduce clumping)

    Spread some cornflour and spread the rice mixture on it. Then take small spoonfull of rice paste and make a pounch shape. Then take a small amount of red bean paste and put it inside the pouch and then seal it. Make any desired shape you want.
