Ingredients

sugar
¾ cup
flour
½ tsp
cinnamon sugar
1 tsp
baking soda
cup
pumpkin purée
1 cup
Sugar, powdered
1 tbsp
butter

Utensils

Jelly roll pan, stand mixer with paddle, oven, kitchen towel, Refrigerator

  • Step 1/8

    • ¾ cup flour
    • Jelly roll pan

    Grease and flour a 15x10x1 jelly roll pan

  • Step 2/8

    • 3 eggs
    • 1 cup sugar
    • ½ tsp cinnamon sugar
    • 1 tsp baking soda
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • cup pumpkin purée
    • stand mixer with paddle

    Combine the cake ingredients with a mixer and pour into the pan.

  • Step 3/8

    • oven

    Bake at 375 for 12-15 minutes.

  • Step 4/8

    • 1 cup Sugar, powdered
    • kitchen towel

    Turn cake onto a towel sprinkled liberally with powdered sugar.

  • Step 5/8

    Roll up the towel/cake and allow to cool.

  • Step 6/8

    • 8 oz cream cheese
    • 1 tbsp butter
    • ¼ tsp vanilla extract

    When cool, unroll the towel/cake and spread the filling.

  • Step 7/8

    • Refrigerator

    Re-roll and chill.

  • Step 8/8

    When serving, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
