Ingredients

360 g All purpose flour
1½ ml Fresh orange juice
118 ml vegetable oil
118 ml milk
100 g sugar
1 tbsp Fresh orange zest
eggs
2 tbsp baking powder
½ tsp Baking soda

    Preheat the oven to 350°F or 180 degrees. Grease a (10 inch )cake pan and set aside .

    • 1½ ml Fresh orange juice
    • 118 ml vegetable oil
    • 118 ml milk
    • 100 g sugar
    • 1 tbsp Fresh orange zest
    • eggs
    • rubber spatula

    In a mixing bowl whisk together eggs and sugar until fluffy. add oil ,milk ,orange juice and zest, whisk them all together for 5 minutes.

    • 360 g All purpose flour
    • 2 tbsp baking powder
    • ½ tsp Baking soda

    Add flour , baking powder and baking soda to the mixture and Just whisk just until combined. (do not over mix )

    Now pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 45 to 50 minutes.check with a toothpick or knife inserted to the centre of the cake if it comes clean the cake is ready Allow the cake on a wire rack to cool completely.

    Sprinkle icing sugar or orange syrup over the cake or you can enjoy the way as it is . You can store this cake in an airtight container for a week .
