175 g self-raising flour
1 tsp baking powder
eggs
175 g vitalite (dairy free butter)
175 g golden caster sugar
½ tsp vanilla extract

  • sieve
  • Step 1/10

    • 175 g self-raising flour
    • sieve

    measure out the self-raising flour into a bowl and then sift it into a large mixing bowl

  • Step 2/10

    • 1 tsp baking powder
    • 175 g golden caster sugar

    then put you baking powder in the sieve and also the sugar as well in the sieve

  • Step 3/10

    • 175 g vitalite (dairy free butter)

    next put the butter in to the large mixing bowl and put it on a slow speed so the flour doesn't go every were

  • Step 4/10

    • eggs

    use the same bowl that you measured the flour and sugar and crack the 3 eggs

  • Step 5/10

    • ½ tsp vanilla extract

    in the bowl you cracked the eggs pour the vanilla extract in

  • Step 6/10

    then pour it into two small cake tins

  • Step 7/10

    the put in the oven at the temperature at 170 degrees

  • Step 8/10

    when it comes out of the oven leave it to rest

  • Step 9/10

    then take them out of the tin carefully and then and put the first cake on the bottom and put as much jam as you want and sprinkle coconut on top of the jam

    put the top on and add frosting if you want and decoratioms
