“I make these cookies every weekend to enjoy with my family and friends. It’s easy to make and very delicious. You can make them a day before baking them and trust me, every one will love them!”

Ingredients

171 g flour
100 g sugar
165 g brown sugar
150 g unsalted butter
eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
1 pinch salt
200 g semi-sweet chocolate chips

Utensils

  • stand mixer with whisk

    • 100 g sugar
    • 165 g brown sugar
    • 150 g unsalted butter
    • stand mixer with whisk

    Start by creaming the butter with the sugars until it lighters in color

  • Step 2/9

    • eggs
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract

    Add the eggs one at a time and add the vanilla then continue beating the mixture until it becomes creamy

    • 171 g flour
    • ½ tsp baking powder
    • ½ tsp baking soda
    • 1 pinch salt

    Using a sieve, sift together the dry ingredients and fold them to the butter mixture

    • 200 g semi-sweet chocolate chips

    Finally, add your chocolate chips or chunks and fold them ( you can use nuts too)

    Cover the dough and place it in the fridge for 30 minutes or overnight

    Line your baking tray with parchment paper and scoop your cookies using an ice cream scoop

    In a 180c preheated oven, bake your cookies for 7-10 minutes until it becomes golden on the sides

    Allow the cookies to cool down for 5 minutes before serving them
