Sunday marks the first advent. For us Germans, this is a big occasion. Over the next four weeks, we will light the candles on our Christmas wreaths, open our advent calendars, stroll around Christmas markets, and invite friends and family over to enjoy good food and each other’s company. December is all about festive entertainment.
