Delicious Mawa Gujiya
- 1 cup plain flour
- Oil or ghee for frying
In a bowl combine plain flour, oil and knead a semi stiff dough.
From the dough take a small ball size and roll it like a poori.
- 1/2 cup mawa
- Few crushed cashew nuts
- 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
- 1/2 cup dry coconuts
- 2 tbsp semolina
Keep the poori in a gujiya mould. Stuff the mixture and press it gently. Take out the left over dough. Take out the gujiya from the mould and keep aside.
Fry the gujiya till golden colour
- Sugar syrup
Dip in a sugar syrup for few minutes. Once it is done. Transfer to a plate and ready to serve...
