1 cup flour
1½ tbsp sugar
¾ tsp baking powder
¾ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1¼ cups buttermilk
eggs (large)
oil (for greasing)

    • 1 cup flour
    • 1½ tbsp sugar
    • ¾ tsp baking powder
    • ¾ tsp baking soda
    • ½ tsp salt

    In a medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

    • 1¼ cups buttermilk
    • eggs (large)

    Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients. Then add buttermilk. Mix well together. Then add eggs, one at a time.

    • oil (for greasing)

    Use a small amount of oil (canola or vegetable works best) to a pan over low-medium heat. use about 1/2 cup of batter and shake pan gently to spread. When bubbles form in the center, flip pancake over. Cook for equal amount of time and transfer to a serving plate. Re-oil pan for each cake.
