pork ribs
½ cup
tomato sauce
2 tbsp
sweet soy sauce
3 tbsp
honey
4 tbsp
apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp
brown sugar
1 tbsp
paprika
1 tbsp
Worcestershire sauce
1 clove
crushed garlic
tsp
salt
1 tsp
pepper
olive oil

baking tray, pot, gas grill, frying pan, pastry brush, tong

    • 400 g pork ribs

    Bake or pot boil ribs for 30 minutes or until the flesh is soft. Once cooked, remove from water and leave on a cooling tray.

    • ½ cup tomato sauce
    • 2 tbsp sweet soy sauce
    • 3 tbsp honey
    • 4 tbsp apple cider vinegar
    • 1 tbsp brown sugar
    • 1 tbsp paprika
    • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
    • 1 clove crushed garlic
    • tsp salt
    • 1 tsp pepper
    • olive oil

    Combine the rest of the ingredients together in a mixing bowl and stir.

    Grilling: switch the gas grill to 300 degrees and baste the ribs with the sauce on all sides.

    Frying: use a pan with approximately 80ml cooking oil for frying. Baste the ribs on all sides.

    Add ribs and keep basting and flipping occasionally until they have a sizzle and glisten. Baste once more and serve on a wooden board with a portion of fries.
